Individual Support
Somatically-oriented therapies with
an emotionally focused and
attachment-based lens.
From Uncertainty to Clarity and Confidence.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. After over 14 years practicing as an acupuncturist, I transitioned fully into therapy, bringing a holistic, body-and-mind perspective to my work.
I have supported clients from diverse backgrounds and identities, including those navigating systemic oppression, racism, and complex family dynamics. I understand how social and cultural systems shape our experiences, and I ground my therapeutic approach in this awareness.
Over the years, I have helped individuals navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, fertility struggles, family conflicts, low self-esteem, and existential concerns. I specialize in trauma, family dynamics—particularly within Asian families—and helping clients discover purpose and direction in their lives.
Other areas of experience include:
Family of origin issues
Depression, anxiety, and feeling overwhelmed
Relationship challenges and breakups
Loneliness and social isolation
Climate and ecological grief
Spiritual bereftness
Peri-menopause, menopause, and post-menopause support
Long COVID recovery
Immigrant family dynamics
Race-based stress and trauma
And more…
I work collaboratively to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can process your experiences, gain insight, and develop strategies to live a more meaningful, aligned life. I help you to navigate setting boundaries without giving up your peace.
“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
Connection. Curiosity. Mindfulness.
Mind-Body-Spirit Connection.
“Patricia is a gifted therapist with a warm, compassionate, and supportive presence that has made me feel so safe.”
She is attentive and has allowed me to feel truly seen and heard. Her kindness is a balm in an increasingly stressful world. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
